Geothermal Power Generation
Power generation systems making use of Japan's abundant volcanic resources
Geothermal power generation consists of generating electricity using hot water and steam heated by underground magma. This can be achieved through 2 main methods: - Flash power generation: Geothermal fluids are extracted from the ground and separated into steam and hot water; the steam is then used to drive a turbine and generate electricity. - Binary power generation: Extracted steam or hot water is used to vaporize a secondary working fluid with a lower boiling point, utilizing that vapor to drive the turbine and produce power. 【Key Benefits of Geothermal Power】 ■ Stable power generation ■ Reuse of extracted steam and hot water ■ Low CO2 emissions *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
